When a hurricane razes his community, Hazel intends to use his magical powers to heal and repair the surrounding world. She fights evil spirits and creatures of stories, such as the Two-Toed Tom caiman, the size of a house, along with the help of a giant catfish that speaks. The players will meet haints, a type of spirit and a word derived from the people Gullah Geechee who lives along the Atlantic coast.
Magic acquires a somewhat different form. Instead of being a combat tool (although it is certainly used for that), magic is used to repair and restore. Hazel is a weaver who uses his powers to heal broken links. Its ultimate goal is to repair the great tapestry and find your home once again.
Compulsion Games went further in multiple aspects of the game, including the fascinating Stop-Motion artistic style and audio engineering. The players will listen to the buzzing of insects and the wet and almost palpable silence of a hot southern day, along with folk music at the same time bleak and cheerful. Meanwhile, the story has a melodious southern accent.
