The best PlayStation Portal accessories

He PlayStation Portal It’s a great way to play your playstation 5 games while in another room or even beyond your house. But accessories can really help improve your experience by offering added protection, convenience, and more. As such, we’ve compiled a short list of accessories that we think you should consider for your PlayStation Portal.

PlayStation PULSE Explore Wireless Headset

Unfortunately, Sony has limited the headsets and headphones that can be used with PlayStation Portal. While you can use any wired headphones you like, going wireless means you’ll have to choose between one of the few devices that support Sony’s new Link technology. This makes PlayStation PULSE Explore the most versatile headset you can get for PlayStation Portal. They are expensive, but offer excellent sound quality and easy multi-device connectivity. They average around 5 hours of playtime on a single charge, and the included charging case is a pretty neat addition.

Skull & Co. Hard Carrying Case

There are plenty of solid cases available for the PlayStation Portal, but we really like Skull & Co’s hard case. The device sits neatly within the soft material with very little wiggle room, ensuring it stays secure even if the case takes a knock. .  The case is even waterproof, although we don’t recommend testing it unnecessarily of course!

The screen is arguably the most delicate and important part of the PlayStation Portal, so you’ll want to make sure it’s very well protected, especially if you have small children or use it outside the home, where damage can more easily occur.  We like the ivoler screen protector, which offers solid resistance to fingerprints, dust and water while allowing you to continue seeing the action on the screen without visual disturbances. It even comes in a 2-pack, so you’ll have a backup when you need it.

LVVIL Charging Stand

You can charge PlayStation Portal using any USB-C cable, but if you want a way to store or display the device in the process, you’ll need a charging dock. We’re fans of the LVVIL charging stand, which uses a magnetic connector that makes placing your device on the stand incredibly simple. It’s also a compact stand, meaning it’s not too fiddly to move around if you ever need it, and its LED lights can be customized to give you a bit of style wherever you place it.
